Just finished converting this booklet “Protecting Your Musical Copyrights” by Lisa Alter into a Kindle eBook for her law firm Alter & Kendrick, LLP in NYC. If you’re a music person with intellectual property concerns this might be a very good read for you, and the Kindle price of $2.99 is a bargain.

Artist Portfolio Websites

I’m announcing a new web package specifically designed for artist portfolio websites. It makes it possible for the artist to update information and add/remove images from their portfolios using a browser-based interface and requires no special software and no web coding knowledge. It’s built on a WordPress platform so it’s solid and easily expandable. You can check it out here.

Updated Web Sites

After spending most of my time either working on other folks’ web sites or making art, I finally broke down and spent a bit of time on my own sites. The Bourbon, Dogs and Art site isn’t that much different on the surface, but I’ve updated the “innards” as it were and added a real store. The great thing about the store is that I’ve also integrated it into my Bourbon, Dogs and Art Facebook page.

As for this site, I’ve converted it over from its old 20th-century html self to a WordPress content management system that will make it much easier to update and to tie in with all the various social networking things such as Twitter if I ever get around to doing any posts on Twitter. At any rate, I’ve picked up a lot more tips and tricks in the process of all this, so if you’re looking for some web design work, give me a call.
